Tad lo

Thad Lo, located in the province of Salavan, is a stopover for travelers and is especially popular with people on a budget. This village in Laos is two kilometers from where the bus will drop you off. From here you can take a tuk-tuk for a symbolic amount.

There are three waterfalls in this village: Tad Suong, Tad Lo and Tad Hang. Most of the local community is built around this area.

If you want a quick swim, Thad Hang is the best choice for you. The water is not too coarse while you stay away from the falls. Fishing is very common, and although the water is not crystal clear, it is not harmful to health.

If you cross the Saise Resort through the bridge, you must get to Thad Lo Waterfalls. Although you may not be able to swim in the rocky waters this fall, spend some time sitting on the beach and enjoy its view.

Thad Suong is the farthest from the village and the most beautiful of the three. Watching the splash of water through the sharp gorges of the fall is a brilliant experience.

There are three waterfalls in Tad Lo, one of which is located near the village, the second is a kilometer upstream, and the third is even higher upstream, about eight kilometers from it. If you walk along the left bank of the river, you can find a way through the jungle to the second waterfall. The sound of a waterfall will lead you to the base of the waterfall along an artificial flight of stone steps. You can also swim here.
