Tour itinerary

Day 1: Arrival At Dong Kralor (Cambodia – Laos Border) (L/D)
Car

Arrival at Dong Kralor border check point meeting and welcome by our friendly guide, and doing Visa procedure. Then, you will transfer directly to Stung Treng Province at 80Km from border, it take approximately 1hour and 30 minutes – drive in good road. Arrived and transfer to check in hotel in Stung Treng. Lunch at Stung Treng in a local restaurant. After lunch, drive towards Kratie province about 141Km from Stung Treng provincial town (around 3hrs). Stop over at Kampi at the site of the river dolphins (Mekong River Dolphins). Observe the river dolphins until sunset. Once you are at the Kampi dolphin viewing site, all guests are taking boat trip which we have organized for all of you to see the dolphins in the center of the pool (river). Arrive in Kratie on the Mekong and check in at hotel.

Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight at hotel in Kratrie.

Day 2: Phnom Penh (B/L/D)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Today we will take you to see some of the more sinister parts of Cambodia history: visit the Toul Sleng museum of Genocide and Killing fields memorial, Alternatively you can also enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong river, and we will end the day with some serous shopping at the famous Russian market for cheap real brand clothes, souvenirs and Cambodian silk.

Lunch & Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Phnom Penh.

Day 3: Kratie – Kampong Cham (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel or local restaurant.

Continue a half day tour in Kratie provincial town. Take a brief tour of the small colonial-style town. Visit the history of a pagoda Vihear Sarsar Mouy Rouy (pagoda with 100 columns). It’s a historical and cultural resort, situated 36Km to northern part of Kratie provincial town. Drive back to town and enjoy the magnificent view of surrounding countryside from the hilltop. Lunch and departure by road to Kampong Cham (165Km – 3hrs via Chhloung on a good road). In route stop at Chhoung Village to admire one of the oldest wooden house in Cambodia (Traditional house) and also visit a rubber plantation in Chup. Arrive in Kampong Cham for dinner and Overnight in Kampong Cham.

Day 4: Kampong Cham – Kampong Thom (B/L/D)
Car

Breakfast at a local restaurant. Morning, vist Wat Nokor Bachey temple, an 11th century Mahayana Buddhist shrine of sandstone, Phnom Pros (Man Hill) & Phnom Srei (Woman Hill), each with its own temple on the top and late rite and explore the town to see old colonial buildings and the daily life of the residents. Lunch at a local restaurant in Kampong Cham. After lunch, continue to Kampong Thom (135Km – approximately 3hours drive in good road). En route, visit Wat Kohear Nokor (11th C.). You will also visit a local village and its pagoda where you can observe the daily life of the Cambodian people and the monks. Arrive in Kampong Thom. Dinner at local restaurant and Overnight at hotel in Kampong Thom.

Day 5: Kampong Thom – Sambor Prei Kuk – Siem Reap (B/L/D)
Car

Breakfast at a local restaurant. Visit Sambor Prei Kuk, pre-angkorian site (7th C.). The well-known city was called Isanapura is presently located at Sambor Prei Kuk, Kampong Thom province. And this complex is composed of 4 groups of temples. These are among the most ancient surviving examples of Khmer architecture. Sambo Prei Kuk is 30Km north of Provincial town of Kampong Thom. Picnic Lunch will be served there or drive back to take lunch in town first before departure to Siem Reap. After lunch, continued by overland to Siem Reap (about 170Km from Sambo Prei Kuk and 154 Km from Kampong Thom provincial town – approximately 3hours drive in good road). Arrive at Siem Reap and check in hotel. Dinner at local restaurant and Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 6: Siem Reap (B/L/D)
Car

Breakfast at hotel. Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, Elephants Terrace and Terrace of the Leper King. Lunch at hotel. PM: visit Angkor Wat and view the Sunset from Phnom Bakheng hill. Dinner at restaurant with Cambodian traditional dance Show (Apsara Dance). Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 7: Siem Reap (B/L/D)
Car

Start early to catch the sunrise (optional). Return to the hotel for breakfast. Continue visit Kravan, Sras Srang, Banteay Kdei, Ta Prohm, Ta Keo, Thomanon and Chao Say Tevoda Temples. Lunch at local restaurant. PM: visit to Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup Temples. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 8: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. This morning, visit Tonle Sap Lake by boat cruise 1hurs (best from July to February) to see the floating villages and drive back to visit ” Les Artisans D’Angkor – Chantiers Ecoles ” and then stopover in Old Market, take your time and enjoy yourself for shopping, communicating with Cambodian sellers, handicraft women. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch, free time till transfer to Siem Reap Airport for departure flight to Phnom Penh by late afternoon flight. Arrival & transfer to hotel for check in Phnom Penh. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.

Day 9: Phnom Penh (B/L/D)
Car

Breakfast at hotel. Start the morning with a visit to the Silver Pagoda, the Royal Palace and the National Museum. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon visit Wat Phnom Daun Penh and follow by Toul Sleng Genocide Museum, the Russian Market and the infamous Choeung Ek „Killing Fields. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.
