“Mountains to the Sea” is special deigned for those people who would like to explore the different hill tribes on the Sa Pa Mountains as well as Natural World Heritage of Halong Bay.
Itinerary
In the evening our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel then transfer to Hanoi Train Station for night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on the train.
Upon arrival at Lao Cai town, a car will take you up hill through the stunning cloudy mountains to Sapa town – 30km from Lao Cai. Free in the morning to relax and enjoy the beautiful town and its busy market. Check in the hotel before enjoying lunch in local restaurant. Take 2 hours trek down the valley to the Cat Cat village of the Black-H’Mong Ethnic Minority. Overnight in Sapa.
Start your trek further down to Lao Chai & Ta Van Village of the Black H’Mong and Red Dzao Ethnic People. The trails lead you to a beautiful river curving along the scenic valley. Picnic lunch will be prepared for you. In the afternoon, car pick-up from the other end of the village and transfer back to Sapa town. Have some more free time to explore the town and people here before driving down to Lao Cai. Take the night train back to Ha Noi. Overnight on the train.
Arrive at Hanoi Railway Station at 5:30am. Have some rest and enjoy breakfast before leaving Hanoi for Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta. After 3.5 hours driving, you will board a tradition wooden junk to enjoy the cruise in Halong Bay. Lunch and dinner are served onboard. Overnight on the boat.
