- Cambodia is a Southeast Asian nation whose landscape spans low-lying plains, the Mekong Delta, mountains and Gulf of Thailand coastline. Phnom Penh, its capital, is home to the art deco Central Market, glittering Royal Palace and the National Museum’s historical and archaeological exhibits. In the country’s northwest are the ruins of Angkor Wat, a massive stone temple complex built during the Khmer Empire.
- The official name is Kingdom of Cambodia, located in the south of the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia. The country is blessed with diverse flora and fauna, which are typical of the tropics. Its long and rich history is also one of the attractions waiting to be discovered by tourists.
- Undoubtedly Cambodia’s main attractions are the magnificent Angkor temples, both in scale and beauty, but there is much more on offer than its famous cultural sites.
